QuayConnect has been out and about up in Marlborough, experiencing firsthand everything that happens during a harvest.
QuayConnect's transport partners (Central Express) are one of the largest harvest transport operators in the region, bringing in 40+ bulk trucks at this time of the year to cope with 4 – 6 weeks of grape harvest. They operate 24/7 over this period and have over 100 truck drivers inducted through their harvest program. In 2022 the Marlborough region had their largest ever harvest with 415,000 Tonnes of grapes, and many of the experts we spoke to are thinking the 2023 harvest was going to be close to this again. We are readying ourselves for another large export season on the back of another bumper harvest.
